GAA Gemological Appraisers Terms and Conditions
In determining the retail valuation of the article, the appraiser after determining the quality of your article, bases his valuation on what similar articles or gemstones sell at in retail stores handling like items based on personal knowledge of the market and on various gem reporting publications which have an acknowledge reputation of substance. The retail appraisal does not purport to represent the actual price the owner would be able to obtain in a private or other sale it is for insurance purposes only. Designer products can reflect significantly higher prices than mass produced items of the same or similar design. The insurance price can be adjusted to lower premium prices.
Client is responsible for and agrees to protect, indemnify and hold harmless, GEMOLOGICAL APPRAISERS OF AMERICA, INC., its agents and employees from any and all injury, loss, damage or destruction of said gemstone materials or jewelry while in the possession of GEMOLOGICAL APPRAISERS OF AMERICA, INC. resulting from any cause not attributed to gross negligence or willful misconduct of GEMOLOGICAL APPRAISERS OF AMERICA, INC. Or its agent or employees.
Our staff of Gemological Institute of America (GIA) graduate resident gemologists possess a wealth of knowledge, technical expertise and practical experience. Our staff is able to provide a quality analysis and evaluation based on worldwide accepted standards.
This certificate or the name GEMOLOGICAL APPRAISERS OF AMERICA, INC. may not be reproduced in whole or part without the expressed prior written authorization from GEMOLOGICAL APPRAISERS OF AMERICA, INC.
